Dinner at Burgoo

Last Saturday, Francis finally decided to get a haircut. After almost an hour of waiting for him, I got hungry. As in hungry that I don’t want to walk anymore to check out other restaurants in the area. Burgoo is just across Bruno’s so we just went there. 🙂 Burgoo is my husband’s “reward-to-myself” restaurants. He always wants to eat here every payday. As a reward to himself after working hard for 5 days.

Since it was a weekend and it was actually the last day of the Pyro Olympics competition, the whole mall is jam-packed. It was crazy! But we are always lucky that there’s a vacant table to us, in every restaurant we are going. Haha! Once we got seated, then customers will be all waiting for their seats. Talking about customer magnet, noh?

We also planned to use our Php500 discount coupon that was given to us during our last visit here. That’s a great discount. So, here’s what we got:

For me: Brewed Coffee | Php45.00

Starter: Gambas aj Ajillo | Fresh tiger prawns sauteed with olive oil, garlic, tomato sauce, cilantro and chili flakes. Served on a bed of bell peppers and mushroom. | Php375.00

For Him: Shirmps and Ribs Platter | Mouth-watering combination of barbequed baby back ribs and cajun spiced fried prawns. Served with US fries and grilled corn on the cob. | Php745.00

For Me: Chicken Diane | Tender and juicy grilled chicken fillet served with garlic spaghetti on a pool of creamy Diance sauce. | Php375.00

That Php500 discount was great. And as always, the food were good – really, really good. 😀 😀 😀 And oh, by the way, the manager gave us another discount coupon for our next visit. Nice!!

In Burgoo ksi, ung table nila, white paper lang ang cover tapos they give crayons sa customers so they can draw there while waiting for their food. And the waiters also use this to write their name on it and the customer’s name. =)
