Marriott Manila is one of the highly acclaimed hotels in the metro. Being internationally renowned, it boasts a grand ballroom and several meeting rooms, Marriott Hotel Manila is also the ultimate destination for meetings and events, from weddings to gala dinner celebrations. Marriott Cafe is one of the several features of the hotel.
Last June 2, 2012, I was invited to this sumptuous and extravagant event in where I was able to celebrate the feast of having the Asia’s four most famous dishes all at the same time! It started with a short and fun gathering of the guests in the hotel’s President Den room.
After the fun bloggers event, we headed to our way to Marriott Cafe. Bright, bold and upbeat, this modern all-day dining restaurant captivates food lovers with its engaging open-theater kitchens. Indulge from the vast sumptuous buffet of local and international favorites or order from the equally irresistible a la carte menu.
Tables were adorned with stunning arrangements of elegant flowers. Service is impeccable. The waiters and waitresses, all wearing their smiles, all moves in a well–orchestrated dance.
I began with delicately and generous pieces of my favorite sea foods. Steamed crabs and shrimps sauteed in butter and garlic made me go back to this station several times.
I followed these with different barbeques, maki, sushi and tempura. Next on my plate was the heavenly Malaysian dishes. 🙂 The taste of curry and chili were just right for me. 🙂
And of course, who doesn’t like a steak in their plate? Here’s the leader of the band! Yum!!
The desserts includes a nice and excellent set of fresh fruits, gelato, ice cream cakes and chocolate fondue.
Overall experience was superb. The restaurant is mainly about having a good experience while enjoying good food from the moment you walk inside the cafe. There is a sense that, price aside, you will get more than you expected, or deserved, probably. 🙂

It’s nice that Marriot has penetrated the Philippines and it’s just beside the Casino at Resorts World. I should try to drop in the place for a meal here.

I agree Franc. And I must say that their free shuttle going to and from Resorts worlds all over the metro is a really good idea. 🙂
