Peri-Peri Grill House in Greenhills: The Home of the Legendary Portuguese-style Grilled Chicken

Situated in Promenade, Greenhills, just a few walk from the usual shopping place, Peri-Peri Grill House has been a well-known casual restaurant with its original and legendary Portuguese-style grilled chicken.

Peri Peri Grill House was originally called Peri Peri Chicken. It has been in the business for 3 years now and has gained loyal guests and lovers of its famous Portuguese – style grilled chicken. Now it has been reinvented as a “polished casual” style restaurant that aims to offer a superb dining experience to guests with the comfort and price of a casual dining. Indeed, the restaurant leans more to the “polished” side. The lights are dim, the decor crisp and classy, the music light, making it easy to forget you’re actually in the mall. Why the change? The owners simply want to make its guests happier by providing excellent food choices, right portions, great prices, exceptional guest service, and great ambiance.

I have been in this place several times already and they never failed me with their chicken. They also got a modern, unfussy interior is clean and neutral while their staff are always welcoming and friendly. The dining concept is simple – grilled chicken served with our choice of sides and sauces. This is the best. Simple but effective and a healthy alternative to takeaways.

While waiting for the food, the sauces being displayed, cutlery and plates were really attention-grabber.

Now here comes the exciting part. After several minutes of waiting, the staff started filling our tables. 🙂

The famous Peri-Peri chicken. Comes in Mild, Hot and Lemon & Garlic flavorful basting.

1 Whole Peri-Peri Chicken – Mild | Php 490.00 | Rating: 5 out of 5

1 Whole Peri-Peri Chicken – Hot | Php 490.00 | Rating: 4 out of 5

1 Whole Per-Peri Chicken – Lemon & Garlic | Php 490.00 | Rating: 4 out of 5

The chickens were really good. They’re really tasty. They just differ from their flavors. I love the one that’s mild. The spiciness is just right for me.

Java Rice

The java rice was for 8 people. Gosh! We were given the choice of steamed rice  or java rice. So we chose the latter one. Not sure, but its taste really compliment the taste of the chicken.

Grilled Shrimp Salad | Reg Php180.00 Family Php340.00 | Rating 5 out of 5

The grilled shrimp salad was so good. With the bed of mixed lettuce with three fruits dressing. 🙂

Garden Salad | Reg Php180.00 Family Php340.00

Garden salad is a light salad of lettuce mix, apple cubes, cashews and poppy seeds dressing. Notice that I didn’t have a rating for it, I honestly didn’t get the chance to taste it as I was really full already. My tummy cannot just take it anymore. 🙂

And then here’s our smoothies.

For our desserts, we tried their cheesecakes. See the difference? They’re all cheesecakes but only have different toppings. Yes, they’re quite huge for one person but it’s just sad to see these lonely cheesecakes.

Same with their tiramisu. Clearly, Peri-Peri should consider improving their desserts. Customers, after having a very good meal with their grilled chicken, deserves a very good desserts, yeah? Yes!

Peri-Peri Grill House is under the management of i-Foods Inc. which is an avant-garde player in the food and beverage industry. It prides itself in cutting-edge restaurant concepts which drives market sales.

The resto also boasts of a more diverse menu offering specializing in grilled specialties like Texas style ribs, thick and tender saucy chops, and 100% angus beef burgers. Other winning dishes are the Shrimp diablo appetizer that is crispy, spicy and creamy; the Chicken Diablo pasta which is tossed in a creamy Cajun sauce; the Wild Chicken wings that are peri-peri delicious; and the huge chicken and ribs family platter good for the entire family. Definitely, there will be a dish that will satisfy every discerning diner’s palate.

I am a regular customer of Peri-Peri here at SM City Davao since they opened first quarter of this year, I simply love their chicken with java rice. While my niece loved the pasta =)

Love to try these dishes especially the grilled shrimp salad and Peri Peri chicken. It looks juicy and delicious. My son is a chicken lover, I’m sure he will like this.

Regarding the ‘misspelling’ you said on my Piri Piri post, I don’t think it is. It looks like the spelling varies but no matter, it’s their food we’re talking about and aren’t they yummy!
