As a self-acclaimed foodie, I’ve already learned to love different drinks. And milk tea is one of them. Though, I won’t consider myself as a milk tea addict just like my friends.
Jelly G is honestly one of the better milk tea places I’ve been too. They serve their milk teas fast enough. They got several branches already all over the metro. And in fact, this the 2nd time I am writing about my great experience with them. Though I have tried most if not all of their milk tea variants, I still readily agreed when being invited again to visit their branch in 500 Shaw Zentrum in Mandaluyong City.
I like the fact that they have plenty of indoor seating at this location. And they are surrounded with several nice restaurants too. So, after a sumptuous lunch or dinner, you can just move a few steps and you’ll find yourself in front of Jelly G’s counter.
The owner of Jelly G let us try most of what they serve to their customers. While waiting for our milk teas, we started with their authentic Thai dried mango and sweet tamarind candies.
The dried mango was soo good and really addicting. It has a distinct taste that’s different what your conventional ones here. Same with the sweet tamarind candies, soo good! 🙂
Thai Milk Tea was good, not very sweet. One of Jelly G’s best seller, I think. It has an unusual taste which I think for Thai tea fans will surely love. Though, I honestly wasn’t really that impressed with the taste, it was still a good experience for me. I guess, I’m just not into the taste of star anise combined with something like tamarind on the tea. The grass jelly on top was great by the way. It compliments the taste of the whole Thai milk tea.
Jasmine Green Tea on the other side has this unique way of setting my palates to be in a relax mode. Just like the feeling when you’re in a spa. A little of bitterness and sweetness combined makes this again, unique.
Coffee Mint, anyone? 🙂 If you’re one of those who’ve gone crazy over Starbucks’ Peppermint Mocha drink, then this is for you.
Black Forest. Yes, a bit common but this one’s my favorite. With the strawberry syrup? Well, who wouldn’t love chocolate-flavored drink, right?
Cheesy Mango. Again, this is another favorite. 🙂 The generous rock salt and cheese on top of the sweet blended mango, makes this soo good.
While we are all enjoying our milk teas, Jelly G also served us their bread toasts. These are quite similar to Kaya toasts.
Jelly G is truly another place associated with quality and believes in giving their customers the best of their offerings. Every item on their menu is prepared with the finest quality ingredients and best way they can. Jelly G’s bread toasts are more than just a toast. With its wide offerings of authentic Thai milk teas, anyone will surely love them.
