Sweet Ecstasy: Making Burgers Awesome with Milkshakes, Fries and Wings in Cubao Expo

How about milk shakes and burgers? No need to go far, Sweet Ecstasy is also in Cubao Expo. Started with Milk and cookies, now this cozy little dessert place serves more than just desserts – from milk shakes, burgers to wings and fries all are brain child of sweethearts Fran Tobias and Al Galang.

Red and white walls. Filled with different personal creations of Al. 🙂 So unique and cool. Me and my friends had fun looking and reading each of these. Haha! And look at this irregular shaped table. So fun!

Menu? Simple. Milkshakes. Burgers. Wings. Fries. But never fear. There are smiling crews whose sole job appears to be taking your orders cheerfully. They serves the food according to your requests (if there’s any). In other words, it’s well-planned, carefully managed one.

The food is similarly cheerful, well-thought-out and prepared with care. You’ll be eating various configurations of burgers which the owners personally love also. And the milkshakes?! Looove et!! I ordered the Red Velvet Milkshake and I think I had the best one ever.

Here’s the premium milkshakes:

Feeling conventional with these milkshakes? Sweet Ecstasy also offers ‘adult’ milkshakes. Haha! 🙂 They mix alcohol with it.

Ready for the burgers?

The Cheese Burger which comes with lettuce, onion, tomato and Sweet Ecstasy’s secret special sauce. Then the Double Cheese Burger. Lastly, the Onion-glazed Cheese Burger. I love all of them. It’s meaty, drippy and thoroughly satisfying. The patty is pretty flavorsome and moist.

You must, of course, have fries to go with your burger and Sweet Ecstasy’s are terrific. They’re fresh, crispy shoestrings.

My experience with Sweet Ecstasy was even sweeter because of the sweet and love stories of the owners which got them going on making their burgers awesome. They shared their inspiring stories, struggles and achievements with their restaurant. Now, they’re busy preparing for the opening of their second branch in Makati. Woohoo!! Congratulations and good luck! I will definitely be back and this time, with spend more time there. 🙂
