The Appraisery: On Clothing, Collectibles and Caffeine in Cubao Expo

The Appraisery in Cubao Expo. Who doesn’t know Cubao Expo? Amidst this famous area in Quezon City, is an interesting coffee shop. But it is not just a coffee shop, can you guess what? From the name itself: The Appraisery – Clothing, Collectibles, Caffeine. Exciting, yeah?!

First time I hear about this place though its first branch was established in Greenhills. Entrepreneur-Owner Victor Prieto decided to move it in Cubao Expo. Since then, The Appraisery has been serving its original creations to its customers aside from its unique act of appraising used clothing and being a quiet abode to different collections of novelty items. It is also a haven for gamers and hobbyists who enjoys the aroma of caffeine while busy with their business.

Look at the place:

Now to the menu:

When the menu was handed to me, I was all smiles. Very unique. 🙂 While I was so busy looking around and taking photos, I was also ready for my caffeine fix.

Step right in if you’re craving for great eats and awesome gourmet cups of caffeinated goodness.  Against the backdrop of the metros bustle, you will find your hunger for great food, great service and great conversation. Their consummate barista and chefs are both artists and masters of their craft, custom-brewing the finest teas and coffees, and creating mouth-watering sandwiches and desserts for the community.

Green Team Matcha
Green Tea Matcha Latte: I just had a sip of this since I am not really tea nor a matcha person. Haha! My friend who ordered this loved it though. The presentation’s nice, too. 🙂
Mocha Frappe
Mocha Frappe: Yes, I think most if not all coffee shops serve this. This one’s good too. Not too sweet, not too bitter. The whipped cream’s really good.
Caramel Frappe: I love this because of the generous drizzles of caramel. Yum!

Well, Victor came up with a frappe with pumpkin spice, cinnamon and white chocolate. I personally ordered this and I sooo love it. The taste of the pumpkin spice is just awesome!

Personally, I love having something to munch on while having coffee. And The Appraisery has a lot to offer specially their panini. I love panini. Whether you call your grilled sandwich a panino (panini is plural) or a toastie, they all offer the same amount of immense enjoyment. There’s just something so special when you have a warm sandwich in your hands with golden, crunchy bread and whatever that grilled with it. 🙂

I enjoyed my experience with The Appraisery (thanks to a friend who invited me here 🙂 ). The positive vibe it brings to its customers is a whole lot better because of its owner – Victor Prieto. He didn’t have any problems sharing his experiences knowledge with coffee. He’s even friends and have a good relationship with his customers.
