I’m a huge buffet person and quality is one of the most important aspect I usually expect. I’ve been to most of the popular ones in the Metro, but this place definitely made it to my top ten list. Not only is the quality there, I’m loving the beautiful presentation and excellent customer service. Not to mention that they are still on a soft opening. This newly conceptualized restaurant bring much-needed class and spunk to the buffet genre, with eclectic offering combined with minimal and slick ambiance.
A fresh and casual dining spot, nestled within the lush urban confines of San Juan.
From P399.95 to P599.95 on weekdays and weekend dinner, me and my friends got all-you-can eat to 6 food groups, 5 senses to experience, 4 hemisphere of recipes, 3 dimensions of dining, 2 ways to get there and ONE place for it all.
Introducing 7Flavors Philippines. It offers all the trappings of typical restaurant service. Here, there’s no trying to flag down one server who is racing to clean 10 tables. Instead, drinks are refilled quickly. Used plates are snapped up in seconds. The minute we arrived at the place, from the Security Guard who assisted me in parking ffrom the waiters who greeted us right in front of the door, accompanied us to our table, then happily introduced us to their Artisan Bakery, Gourmet Cafe and World Fussion Buffet. We were just all smiles. I liked what I am experiencing! Allow me to also mention that 7Flavors is co-owned by the renowned Kapuso Artist Chef Boy Logro.
The restaurant’s decor of being simple and minimal, since it is still on soft opening, surely there’s still a lot of things to improve on when it comes to it. But I didn’t care. I got more excited to visit this place again.
While we were just checking out the place, we had their iced and blended creations which we all loved. We got really excited that we ordered one each. Haha!
Ready? Let’s go!
We were pleased with the huge selection of good-looking dishes. Highlights include the Eggplant Parmigiana, Fried Fish with Tropical Fruits Salsa, Fried Potato with Cheese and Bacon, Chicken Drumstick with Sticky Lemon Sauce, Butter Vegetables, Malasian Beef Rendang, Norwegian Meet Balls, Korean-style Mafu Tofu, Beef Bourguignon, Asian BBQ Pork Ribs, Chicken Wings with Butter Spicy Sauce and many many more!!
Having our stomachs sufficiently filled by these wonderful dishes, we made our way to the rest of the buffet, and found more!
Toward the end of the buffet is an assortment of sumptuous, good-looking desserts! At this point, we were slumping into our seats in a hushed, satisfying stupor. Our intrepid crew recovered and ventured on us to try the fun and exciting part of this buffet — the DESSERTS! And so, we politely obliged and got ourselves a plate and started to fill it with those sinful slices of cakes and sweets.
Much to our surprise, the owners were super generous to let us taste their one–of-a–kind desserts from their Artisan Bakery. Ladies and gentlemen, pls meet 7Flavors Ensaymada and 7Flavors Cheesecake.
The 7Flavors Ensaymada is not your regular neighborhood ensaymada. It actually fetaures interpretations of our favorite and familiar Filipino tastes. With butter, leche flan, ube, pandan, cheese and macapuno and BACON, this unique thing is A-W-E-S-O-M-E! For only P50 each, this ensaymada will surely win your heart and taste buds as well, promise!
And then there’s 7Flavors Cheesecake. Woohoo! We are all excited to have a taste of this original. It’s a calamansi-infused cheesecake, on a coconut and graham crust, topped with ube and langka mixture and fresh durian, froasted with coffee cream and dusted with chocnut crumble. Do I need to say more??
Finishing this off with drinks, of course. Iced tea is already part of the buffet – unlimited. Haha! But we wanted to try something else. So we ordered their Italian Soda. So good and refreshing.
We were also able to try their Iced and Blended Creations. 🙂
Gauging the size of the crowd and the restaurant’s only having this new concept, it seems 7Flavors Philippines is finding a market of its hip yet classy and affordable buffet concept. Me and my friends vowed to return with our family. I’m sure they will also be satisfied by eclectic piles of sumptuous and yummy dishes.
Note: Unlimited iced tea is already included in the buffet. The Italian Sodas and Milkshakes – we ordered them and paid for them separately. Just a friendly reminder. 🙂
And since they are still on soft opening, you get to enjoy 20% until June 25, 2015. So, what are you waiting for? See you there!
